Un aspecto a mencionar acerca de la IA, es que abarca diversos campos como el reconocimiento de voz, procesamiento de lenguaje natural, visión por computador, robótica avanzada, captura de conocimiento, planificación y optimización, entre otros, en la que se busca que un sistema tenga la capacidad para sentir, razonar, participar y aprender. Big data se ha constituido curso de ciencia de datos como un “tópico caliente” que atrae la atención no solo de la industria, sino también de la academia y del Gobierno. Podemos detectar varios elementos del diseño experimental que pueden influenciar el desempeño del método y de los dermatólogos, y que nos permitan interpretar este resultado. Es importante evaluar siempre la relación que los datos de entrenamiento pueden tener con los datos de prueba. Por ejemplo, los datos de entrenamiento pueden tener sesgos, en términos de la presencia desbalanceada de las distintas lesiones en estos datos, que expliquen la alta especificidad de la RNC en comparación con los dermatólogos.

Es decir, puede perfilarse en diversos contextos como la diseminación del virus en una determinada zona bajo parámetros climatológicos, factores de densidad demográfica, patrones de movilidad, características fenotípicas del virus con respeto a sus otras familias y medioambiente, detección de anomalías a nivel celular y/o molecular, entre muchos otros aspectos. Con esto en mente, los costos de investigación y desarrollo se reducen ostensiblemente, viéndose reflejados en el valor final del medicamento para el paciente y sector salud en general.

• La velocidad refiere tanto a la rapidez de generación de los datos, por ejemplo, señales fisiológicas adquiridas en tiempo real por sensores vestibles, como al tiempo en que el procesamiento de los datos debe ser realizado, por ejemplo, al correlacionar señales en tiempo real para determinar el riesgo de un paciente y así poder asignar recursos en una unidad de cuidado intensivo.

  rutinas profesionales que desembocan, según Paulussen y Harder (2014), en la navegación diaria de los periodistas

  en la difusión de los hechos.

• Para finalizar, y con la mirada puesta en las redes sociales, tratamos algunos de los instrumentos documentales utilizados así como las aplicaciones que los periodistas están empleando, siempre primando el enfoque bibliotecológico y documental.
• Data Science, por otro lado, se refiere a la disciplina que se encarga de extraer conocimiento y comprensión a partir de los datos.

Si bien el volumen, velocidad y variedad son dimensiones ampliamente aceptadas, también se han considerado como dimensiones adicionales el valor, esto es, la relevancia de la información que proveen los datos en el contexto en el que se generan, y la variabilidad, esto es, si los datos caducan y deben ser removidos o actualizados. Por lo tanto, los atributos denominados “las 6 Vs de Big Data”25 son volumen, velocidad y variedad, que se refieren a la manipulación y administración de los datos, y veracidad, variabilidad y valor, que se refieren a la relevancia de los datos en el contexto del análisis que se quiere realizar. Estas 6 dimensiones proveen una completa caracterización del régimen de adquisición de datos que caracteriza Big Data en el contexto clínico y son las que consideraremos en este artículo. Una realidad que desemboca en la necesidad de contar con profesionales que se encarguen de transformar la gran cantidad de información en valor corporativo.

Otros tipos de desarrollo de aprendizaje profundo, basado en los sistemas de reconocimiento de rostro empleados comúnmente en seguridad física, han sido modificados para detectar si la comunidad está cumpliendo la distancia social reglamentaria. Este software emplea cámaras de video estándar o aquellas dispuestas en una ciudad para videovigilancia, permitiendo monitorear el flujo peatonal en zonas críticas, realizando un reconocimiento sobre la distancia mínima, indicando una alerta a las autoridades si alguien no cumple con la norma. En algunos casos este sistema se combina con cámaras de medición térmica con el fin de establecer si alguna persona tiene fiebre y emitir una alerta para que sea aislada de inmediato por personal sanitario. El big data constituye una gran revolución en la gestión de grandes volúmenes de datos y, fruto de ella, han surgido nuevas soluciones capaces de comportarse de manera autodidacta, sin necesidad de asistencia humana. Programas como AlphaGo de Google representan un paso adelante en la puesta en marcha de máquinas que consiguen capacidades sobrehumanas sin la intervención del hombre. Un ejemplo de iniciativas que responden a esta necesidad en investigación en Chile es el Centro de Imágenes Biomédicas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Como vendría a saberse unos años después, el objetivo de la minería de datos fue el de producir modelos predictivos que tenían el fin de influenciar la conducta de los votantes (en su mayoría registrados) por medio del envío de información selectiva. Empleamos la investigación descriptiva, de primera aproximación, cuyo procedimiento
fue la búsqueda y recuperación de información en las bases de datos Scopus y
Web of Science, el sustento se encontró en la ciencia de la información
mediante la informetría. La configuración de búsqueda se ejecutó con los términos
“big” and “data” en el campo Título de las bases mencionadas, el periodo de búsqueda
fue de enero de 2007 a marzo de 2018.
